Summary: Put Your Money Towards Something Better 2007-01-14
Comment: Although I didn't buy this from Amazon - a friend gave it to me when she got a better juicer - I've used enough to let everyone know that this isn't a great choice. It juices quickly and is fairly easy to clean, but it doesn't extract as much juice as it should. The pulp is quit wet and I do run it through the feeder to squeeze a little more out. It you want to see if juicing is for you though and don't want to spend alot of $$$, this may be worth a try. But I guarantee that if you are serious about juicing, you'll be moving onto a better juicer!

Comment: I brought this on my self. I knew I shouldn't have bought this juicer, but the price was good and I was curious about how it would work (since no one on any of the sites I went on rated this), plus I am a first time juicer. Well, the first time I used it, the "juice" was a little thick, so of course I thought I did something wrong (maybe I should've added the orange last?). I juiced again tonight, and as the apple was coming out, there was no juice, but a thick white goop, the carrots came out okay. Again, the end product was a thick drink. Not impressed. The chute size is so-so, and it sounds like a hand vac. I didn't think there'd be that much negative things to say about this machine, but low and behold!
Why are there any stars at all?? Reasons: it introduced me to juicing (gotta start somewhere, might as well be the bottom goin' up!), it wasn't that hard to wash, and the machine was not stained after putting carrots through.
p.s. I'm keeping it b/c I despise having to wait in line to return anything, and this time of year is havoc (a week b/4 Xmas!)!
