I have owned a Blendtec for over five years and have purchased a few of these replacement carafes- they all, at best, last two years. A few have made it six months before they died from bearing failure. Warrantied now for three years, which should be good news, but it's still a pain and Warranty Services are Nazis when it comes to paperwork and such. I have asked and was told that these are identical to the commercial pitchers Blendtec makes, so I talked to a few business owners. They all said the same thing, new pitchers every six months! What a waste. Vitamix, here I come!

This is exactly what I ordered and is standing up to the use better that the one that originally came with the $400 blender.
Loud and does't last long,

I have almost 10,000 blends on my Champ blender, and I've lost count of how many jars I've had to buy. These things are as loud as jet engines and they never last long. I smelled burning rubber this morning, so I'm buying yet another jar. They're great blenders, but come on, $60 for a new jar? That's just insane. You can buy two blenders at Target for that price.
