Product Description
This Krups citrus juicer features a pressure activated motor that works in both directions to extract the maximum amount o fjuice. The fountain accessory allows juicing directly into a glass. The stainless steel grid combined with black juicing cone prevents staining. Other features include: Two pulp settings allow preparation of juice with or without pulp. Convenient viewing window shows how much juice has bene extracted. Sturdy stainless steel base with cord storage. Removable jug holds up to 30 oz. of fresh juice. All parts, except for the base, are top rack dishwasher safe for quick and easy clean-up. Cover lid for easy storage.

Summary: Not Enough Bang For Your Buck 2006-07-20
Comment: This juicer works well for oranges and smaller citrus, but if you like grapefruit juice look somewhere else. The power of the motor is lacking and the auto-reverse feature is spasmodic and not effective. On the upside, the spout feature is well designed and the pulp option is also pretty slick. But overall for the price (~$50) I expected more bang for my buck.

Summary: Better than you think 2006-07-10
Comment: I can't believe how much more juice I get from limes than I used to using my old green hand lime squeezer. With the cost of limes this machine may actually pay for itself at some point. It is easy to use, easy to clean and doesn't move on the counter when operating. I'd buy another one if I needed more than one.

Summary: Great product - but no replacement parts are available 2006-04-04
Comment: This Krups citrus juicer is compact, powerful and useful. It is wonderful for fresh lemon and lime juice for spectacular fresh margaritas, as well as the usual orange and grapefruit juice. It is easy to clean, but also easy for a new user to accidentally discard the juicer cone into the trash bin when emptying the pulp tray. This is especially true of the black version, you may not notice that you have dumped the black cone in the trash. No replacement part is available, either online or from Krups. I had to buy another machine (a white one!) for the part. If the part ever becomes available, I'll have a citrus press gift for someone. I'll give it with the recipe below!

1 part fresh lemon and lime juice macerated overnight with 1/4 part sugar and grated zest
1 part tequila, blue agave, reposada
1 part triple sec
1 part crushed ice
Shaken and poured over another 1 part crushed ice in a salted glass

Summary: Solid product that is easy to clean 2006-02-02
Comment: My husband and I purchased the Krups citrus juicer when we went on the Lemon Juice diet. This little machine made squeezing lemons a breeze. I really liked how easy it was to clean. The body of the machine stays secure on granite countertops and the motor is strong enough to get every bit of juice.
