Summary: Most convenient blender available 2006-08-23
Comment: The Krups GMA211-70 Power Extreme VI blender is the most convenient blender I ever used. Easy handling; easy to clean not even necessary to take apart; just rinse and put in the dish washer! No spats when using, due to the perfect sizing and wide opening with good sealing lid. Easy to pour A true top quality item all the way. Love the easy to clean front with the covered push buttons. Looks like new all the time. Is easy to store because of its weight. The button functions are true to what they say they do.

Summary: Beware of this blender 2004-06-15
Comment: My husband and I registered for a similar Krups blender (model #243) two years ago for our wedding. The blender has been a huge disappointment. First, the letters and numbers on the main face washed off with plain WATER. Next the blender started to shake, getting worse so that now we both must hold it down to keep it from flying off of the counter. This shaking has cracked the base. Since over a year has gone by, Krups will not replace, repair or refund. What a shame! Please don't waste you money in the same way we did.
