I used this juicer, and the blender, for the first time this morning and I was satisfied with it's performance. I didn't realize how messy juicing could be! However, the machine is VERY easy to assemble/disassemble, and I had no problem just rinsing off the pulp from all the pieces under warm, soapy water. I'm not sure the blender can puree fruits/foods though. So, I wouldn't rely just on this blender, have an extra one somewhere if you're a heavy blender user.

Other than that, I threw together an iced fruit juice using the juice of 2 peeled oranges (supposedly you don't have to peel them, but I chose to), and around three handfuls of champagne grapes. Then I added passion fruit juice, made from concentrate, Ceres pineapple juice, two chopped bananas, and some ice to the blender with the chopping blade. I was looking sooooo forward to trying to juice for the first time. When I recieved my first unit I was so excited I ran out and grabbed a bunch of fruit. I took the time to clean and cut the fruit up. I was disappointed the instructions did not have recipes or even tips. Well we can google that but still disappointing. I then tried the juicer and it just sat there humming at me and not turning the juicer blade. I discovered the motor was bent. So I sent that back and Amazon.com was gracious enough to replace the unit (Thank you that was great service!).

Take II... I once again went out a spent a lot of money on fruit I just could not wait. This time I decided not to do any work until I tested the unit. I have been looking around the small kitchen appliance for a while. This product catched my eye the most. Since i needed a blender, this product has a juicer feature as well for the similar price range. Like jack power juicer, it is around 100 dollar for just the juicer, but this one has blender as well. It works great and I am very satisfied with this product. It is also fun to make juice recipe.
