Summary: Junk Juicer 2009-06-16
Comment: It looks like a juicer form the 1950's but it a piece of junk. The gear mechanism broke after using it only a few dozen times. I bought a real vintage juicer at a thrift shop to replace it...it works way better than this one.

Summary: My Mighty OJ's OK 2009-06-10
Comment: My mighty OJ is really OK. I've had it for a long time, maybe 18 years. it juices lemons and limes thoroughly and seedlessly. Yes, I do have to hand wash it. but it just keeps on juicing. I have it on my counter and use it at least once a week.

Summary: Horrible product, don't waste your money 2009-04-20
Comment: I was excited to find one of these juicers but was quickly dissapointed the first time I used it. It's too small for most oranges and it only extracts a small amount of the juice from the orange. The unit is unsteady and can easily tip over. It tends to squirt juice out the sides which will soil your kitchen and clothes. It's a poorly made Chinese product complete with rough edges and soft metal. I wish I had read the reviews here before buying one. It's a lot of work and mess for very little juice. Maybe it would work better for lemons.
I have a Black and Decker electric juicer from Wal-Mart for which I paid about $12. It works great and extracts nearly every drop of orange juice that's practical. It cleans easily and extracts far more juice than the Mighty OJ with much less work.

Summary: Useless 2009-02-27
Comment: I bought this because it looked like the old Juice King which works very well. This one does not have the leverage to squeeze the citrus and get the jucie out. It is too small for most oranges. I went back to my old hand twist juicer. It did clean up better than the Juice King.

Summary: I love this juicer for kids 2009-02-23
Comment: I bought this on sale at crate and barrel a month ago so that my kids could make their own OJ. My 5 year old loves it and makes juice for the whole family 3 times per week. We use clementines, blood oranges and small juicing oranges and it appears to be plenty strong and sturdy. The juice is mighty sweet and delicious, after reading other reviews we happily avoid those big fibrous oranges. It's perfect for our family needs.
