Summary: Omega Juicer 2010-01-28
Comment: I have never been good at eating my fruits and vegtables, so I thought this would be a way to achieve my goal of taking better care of myself.
I love this juicer, so easy to use and clean up is a breeze. In someone elses review the suggested putting a bag in the back. Thank you for that, pick it up throw it away.
My favorite so far pears & oranges mixed! Yum
Thank you for this product and I will be using it for a long time!

Summary: Don't Buy This Juicer!!! 2009-12-08
Comment: Bought the O2 directly from Omega -- that was the first mistake. Almost 3 weeks later the O2 arrived after virtually harassing them into shipping it. First time to use the juicer: apple, carrot, ginger juice, nothing robust. The O2 kept shutting off. Some kind of internal breaker was tripping. Second time juicing, same thing. Can't seem to make more than half a glass of juice at a time before the thing shuts off. Great juice...if you can get it.

I've had another Omega juicer which was a work horse. VERY, VERY disappointed with the O2 and Omega's service. Now I am absolutely dreading going through the return process with Omega. If you're buying Omega, I definitely encourage you to spend the extra money. The O2 is not where it's at.

Summary: THE LITTLE JUICER THAT COULDN'T 2009-11-28
Comment: I am so completely disappointed in Omega after trying to use this 02, that I may never buy the VRT330 or the 8006.
I have used quite a few juicers over the years, from the old ACME to a cheap Hamilton Beach that left as much juice in the pulp as the juice cup.
I have been happily juicing for a couple of months with my L'Equip Mini, while scouring reviews on nearly every other juicer made. I got my 84 year old neighbor to start juicing using a cheap Juice Factory juicer, that actually was amazing until the plastic parts welded together from friction. I was on a mission to find another affordable juicer for her when Amazon had an Omega 02 at a great price. I decided to buy the 02 for myself and give my L'Equip to my neighbor.

This is my opinion of the Omega 02.

First thing I noticed, and disliked, was the 6 black rubber feet leave black skid marks on my counter. OK, I can live with that.
First juicing was dinosaur kale, celery and carrots. The 02 did not give me nearly as much juice as the L'Equip. The pulp was noticeably wetter. But it was OK, I could live with that as well.
The entire time I was juicing, little bits of veggie sawdust kept coming from juicer all over my counter and juice drops seeping through the front. I checked to make sure everything was together properly (it was). OK, now I'm really irritated, but I have my juice.
I took it apart immediately to rinse as usual.
This is much harder to clean than the L'equip. Not just because the blade has to be unscrewed, but because there are so many tiny little step like layers to the edges of everything. Why?? It certainly doesn't keep juice and veggie dust from shooting out, just makes it a pain to clean.
By now, I don't like this juicer, but I will use it, till I find a good deal on a new L'Equip Mini or decide to get a VRT330 or 8006.

Next day, clean my veggies. Same as usual, 5 leaves of Greens, 1 stalk celery 4 carrots.
Greens first, as directed, then celery, then carrots. Halfway through the first carrot, the internal breaker trips.
Why? I wasn't jamming it in. I reset it, start it back up, trips again. I take it apart to see if something is stuck inside, nothing. I reset it again, turn it on, trips again. Now, mind you, I have put nothing else in, just on/off.
I get the manual, nothing.
I call Omega Service, wait for a few loops of recorded BS, then I am told that no one can take my call, leave my name and number and someone will call me back. It has been three days, no one has called yet.
I take my carrots to my neighbor to finish my juice.
Back home, wash my miserable little non juicer, put it back together and it starts up.

Next day. I hate this POS juicer, but, I want my juice.
Prepared my veggies. Juiced the greens and celery. Cut the carrots into smaller sticks and managed to get about half done before the breaker tripped. Waited about ten minutes, while cutting the rest of the carrots into tiny cubes.

Finished my juice, logged onto Amazon, got my return authorization, then ordered a new L'Equip Mini.

I highly recommend the L'Equip Mini.
It is so easy to clean, I cannot understand why anyone would feel a need to put it in a dishwasher.

UPDATE Dec.7:
Omega never called me back as promised. So much for OMEGA VRT330 vs HUROM, buy the cheapest, same machine.
Amazon was super fast and easy with both the return and credit, even picked it up at my door.
My new L'equip Mini is as wonderful as my old one. I LOVE it!

Comment: The opening to put the food in is too small.
For that reason, I sent the unit back and bought instead a Hamilton Beach BIG MOUTH-which I like, but already burned up one motor. Walmart exchanged it and the new one has been OK. So this blender may be great, but really didn't ever try it.

Summary: Nice Compact size and great juicer 2008-09-06
Comment: We did a lot of research for a new juicer since we had noticed that many models out there are either 'huge' or dont have great juicing power. A couple of criteria we had included: size, juicing abilities, and value for money. This omega model came out on all three categories.

We have now used it for over a year, the juicing is excellent as you can see on how dry the pulp is; the cleaning is relatively easy and dont have so many huge parts to it as in other machinese we have seen; and it is so compact that it is easy to store. Also, with the pulp falling out to an external holder, you can juice to your heart content without having to dismantle the machine to remove the pulp.

Our favorite is apple and carrot juice and this machine has helped up to cleanse our body that we are literally glowing with health.

This model is the best for us and for anyone looking for a good compact juicer. I would stray too far from an omega model. For now, we are certainly going to stick to this model.
