This Orange X machine will force you to take oranges and grapefruit more seriously. The ultra-heavy construction comes from a mechanism designed to get almost every last drop of juice (the last few drops would come from the rind and be bitter) out of a halved citrus fruit. The column and juice extractor are stainless steel; the U-shaped foot and mechanism are made of enameled steel. The handle is 14 inches long with a large rubber grip; no problem using plenty of force--the design ensures you'll need relatively little force at all. Some people will find this gadget hard to lift, though. Use this for the quick and efficient juicing of large quantities of fruit. The juice extractor detaches easily for cleaning.
