Oster 3167 450-Watt 34-Ounce Juicer

Comment: Purchased for my mother in law and she loves it. She makes carrot juice everyday. Had it for about 3 months now and no problems.

Comment: At first I didn't like that I thought this wasted too much fruit, but after a few tries I am liking it more. I had a juicer previously that cost over $200 and was terrible, and I was hesitant to spend so much again and not be satisfied so I opted for this one as it is a low price and the reviews were good.

I have grown to really like this unit. It is a snap to put together and is very quiet when in use. I also like that you do not have to chop the fruits and veggies into small pieces as it has a large input hole. I typically juice 1/2 cucumber, one apple, 2 celery stalks and 1/2 lime or 1/2 lemon, and sometimes add some ginger or cilantro.

The clean up is easy if you do it right away. I immediately add all parts to a sink of hot soapy water and clean after disposing of leftover pulp. I have had this machine for a month at the time of this review.

Comment: It was great when it was working. However, the motor burnt out on me after a several uses.

Comment: I have wanted a juicer for a long time and was too stingy to buy one. Finally my husband told me to go ahead and get one. I did all the reviews on Jack LaLanne and a few others. I studied the reviews on this one and bought it. I love it! As I said ... it's the best thing since fitted sheets.

Comment: Ok, here's the deal. Been looking to update my 20yr old juicer that still works to a new one with the bigger food feeder so I would not have to waste time cutting up my fruit and veggies. Brought the Jack Lalanne Power Juicer Deluxe at Costo, and took it back two days later because it kept stalling and jaming while juicing one carrot. I was shocked. My old juicer has never stalled while juicing anything. I exchanged it for the Oster #3167, and this one works perfect. May be a little louder then the Jack lalanne, but so far it has no problem juicing anything we put in it. Easy clean up, and a good amount of juice. also half the price of the Jack lalanne. I paid [...] at Costco. So far we love it.
