Works almost as advertised. But by the third batch, with good cleanings inbetween, it was slime city. Yuk! Tried peroxide like the brochure said and did little. Can't find the other recommended item grapefruit seed extract anywhere. Have resorted to a bleach mixture which I'm sure shorten the life of the system.

The best sprouter!,

This sprouter is the best I have ever used. It is so easy and the quantity of sprouts is fantastic. All you have to do is change the water daily. I use organic sprouts from Mumm's. After sharing samples with friends they are ready to buy their own. Radish sprouts are by far the favourite and if you spin them dry in a salad spinner and store them in a rubbermaid container that has a separate slotted base inside, they keep for up to two weeks or more in the fridge. You can also get an extra tub and grow twice as many at a time. Note: sometimes when using two barrels the sprinkler doesn't like to spin - I've found that if I plug it in and just let it 'prime' for a few seconds, then unplug and replug it in it starts spinning every time. Love this product! I bought mine from Mumm's sprouting seeds before I knew it was available on Amazon. Check out the demo on the Tribest website for a visual demonstration.

Don't waste your money. This product is cheaply made, the motor wears out fast, the pump has to loudly prime everytime the water is changed, water should be changed twice a day to prevent mold (even with using food grade hydrogen peroxide) and the sprouts are really no better than the mason jar with screen and rinsing seeds twice a day method (we did an experiment between the Freshlife sprouter and the mason jar which worked as good with a lot less work). Don't be fooled by the clever advertising.
