It would vibrate and travel around the counter. It would be a huge hassle to clean. It would jam easily. It would require cutting things into tiny pieces.
No more. I decided to try a "professional" juicer. There really is a difference. In power. In ease of use and cleaning. This fella is well built, and easy to clean. And the best part of this particular model: it's still reasonably sized for a home counter top, unlike the other professional juicers that are about twice as large. Wide input chute. Plenty of power. Solid. Good looking. Easy to clean, inside and out. The only plastic is in the plunger and disposal bin - and I generally just positioned the side chute to point directly over the garbage disposal.
